Planning for future Wimmera reunion music events based on a 60 Years of Wimmera Rock template is separate to preparations for Horsham Rocks Festival.
But the events, while different, are both based on stimulating a live-music scene in Horsham.
An inaugural annual Horsham Rocks Festival, promoting acts in various venues across Horsham district, was originally scheduled for February this year. The COVID-19 pandemic forced organisers to abandon the festival, but planning is ongoing for a launch in 2022.
The Weekly Advertiser revealed last week that leaders behind successful 60 and 50 years of Wimmera rock events were contemplating ways of presenting more regular versions of their shows.
