The lessons incorporated a wide range of ages and abilities but were short-lived following the State Government declaring a ‘state of disaster’.
The aquatic centre will close from tonight in line with stage-three COVID-19 restrictions.
Centre manager Sam Winter said people who had booked to use the centre after the closure date would receive a full refund.
“We know this is disappointing and we have really enjoyed being able to welcome people back since reopening,” she said. “But the government is making decisions with the best interests of our community in mind and we must all work together to reduce the spread.”
