St Brigid's College in Horsham will stay closed until next week after the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed a positive COVID-19 test result of a year 12 student.
School principal Peter Gutteridge, in an email to parents, said following direction from the DHHS, St Brigid's College was now in the process of organising a deep clean of the school.
This meant the school would be closed for all staff and students tomorrow and Friday and possibly early next week.
He said in his email: "I will certainly communicate this to you should this be the case, The DHHS has also asked St Brigid's to assist with contact tracing which we are currently working on.

"As stated in yesterday's email, those who have been identified as a close recent contact with the affected student will be notified by the DHHS, hopefully within 24 hours, and supported to ensure everyone understands what actions are to be taken."
