Two charged after stolen telehandler found in Dimboola

Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two men after finding an allegedly stolen telehandler worth $160,000 in Dimboola yesterday.

Police allege the telehandler was stolen from a property on Blue Ribbon Road in Cannum on June 29.

Detectives and Dimboola officers searched an address in Dimboola on Friday.

Two men, aged 65 and 42, and a 16-year-old teenager were arrested at the scene.

Detectives subsequently located the telehandler in dense bushland near Old Racecourse Road in Dimboola.

The Dimboola men have been charged with theft and were bailed to appear before Horsham Magistrates’ Court on July 7.

The teenage male was released pending further enquiries.
