A footballing legend will appear on a Wimmera-Mallee radio show this weekend.
Hawthorn premiership coach Alastair Clarkson will join The Shirtfront on 3WM on Saturday.
Kaniva-born Clarkson will join hosts Grant Kuchel and Brian ‘Cobba’ Cassidy for a ‘Local Legend’ series after the 9am news. It will re-play at 1pm at the start of the local football live coverage.
ACE Radio Horsham content director Adam Roche said Clarkson’s appearance was highly anticipated.

“Cobba and Koogs wind back the clock each week and chat with legends of our region,” he said.
“It’s been incredible to hear from the likes of Tim Watson, Tony Beck and David Flood – just to name a few – to really get great insight into their time in the leagues.
“This week is going to feature arguably the greatest AFL coach – at least of the modern era – joining the boys.”
Clarkson coached the Hawks to premierships in 2008 and a three-peat from 2013 to 2015. His 134-game playing career included careers with North Melbourne and Melbourne.
