Students gathered sponsors to complete the event, which involved walking 500-metre laps of the school with parents and relatives, and raised $1200 to buy a new 3D printer for the school science program.
Physical education coordinator Alistair Johnson said students were also invited to sport crazy hair-dos in an effort to make the day more ‘fun and exciting’, with best styles winning prizes.
