Boom-gate probe

Police are seeking community help in the investigation of an incident at Stawell Railway Station last month.

Between 10am and 11pm on November 24, someone cut cables to boom gates and a similar incident occurred again about midnight on November 27.

Police are also investigating a fire that started between 12.30am and 12.45am involving a pile of logs close to Stawell Railway Station on November 28.

Police, concerned with the onset of the fire season and danger posed by damage to boom-gate operations, is working to identify offenders responsible for the incidents.
