Horsham College student Tess Jones attacks teacher Dan Garner at Horsham College History Week activities.

NO CHANCE: Horsham College teacher Dan Garner, in stocks, finds it hard to escape student Tess Jones’ water balloon attack.

Humanities learning area head Phoebe Allen said students and teachers participated in different historical-based lunch-time activities each day last week in recognition of History Week.

Activities included a war-time food-tasting session and dress-up day.

Ms Allen said the program aimed to engage students, staff and the wider school community in conversations about historical eras and build enthusiasm about history studies. Pictures: PAUL CARRACHER
