Two-time Australian title holder Michael Scerri will headline the third annual Wimmera Friendly 8-Ball Invitational at the weekend with more than 250 players converging on Horsham.
Teams from as far away as Geelong, Swan Hill and Mt Gambier will join teams from Ararat, Stawell, Dimboola and Horsham competing for cash prizes in the tournament at the Royal Hotel and the Commercial Hotel.
Tournament director Darren 'Deadly' Duncan said 36 teams of seven players would vie for $3200 in prize money across four divisions.
"Entries have doubled since our first tournament and the field looks very strong across all divisions," he said.
