Longy BnS returns after break

Organisers are making the final arrangements for the Longerenong BnS Ball on Saturday — the first since 2019.

Horsham Apex Club 15 members are finalising the site set-up ahead of the weekend.

Tim Batchelor said the club expected about 1000 people to attend the ball at Blue Ribbon Raceway at Kalkee.

“This is our major fundraiser, which then allows us to do a lot more in the community,” he said.

“We’re looking at doing more community grants plus any incidental projects that come up. Previously we’ve donated a car to Centre for Participation and a seat to the Wimmera Cancer Centre – these donations are not possible without the BnS.”

Gates open at 10.30am and the ball starts at 7pm. Cover band No Mistake will perform.
