Person passes fake $100 at Horsham KFC

Police have warned Wimmera businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit $100 notes being circulated.

They have released an image of a person suspected of passing one of the notes at Horsham KFC.

At about 4:15pm on Friday last week an unknown female entered the KFC in Dimboola Road, Horsham and used a fake $100 note.

On Saturday September 5 at 2:10pm an unknown female entered OTR at Dimboola Rd Horsham and used a counterfeit $100 note to pay for various goods, before riding away on a pink bike.

Police have asked anyone who recognises the female or have any information that may assist police with the circulation of 'fake cash' to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, report online via www.crimestoppersvic.com.au or contact Horsham Police Station on 53829200.
