Horsham Police senior sergeant Brendan Broadbent has warned people heading to Horsham for Horsham District Football Netball League's grand final that traffic would be an issue.

"There is a big concert in Lucindale at the weekend too so there will be plenty of people in the Wimmera Highway," he said.

"People travelling from Melbourne will most likely use the Wimmera Highway to get to the concert and with Harrow-Balmoral playing in the grand final it means the road could be very busy between Horsham and Lucindale."
