Despite low numbers, Wimmera Poultry Club’s August Show is going ahead this weekend.
President Brendan Lloyd said it would be one of the club’s smallest shows, with just over 200 birds.
“The last time we held a show in August we had more than 400 birds, but COVID-19 is still affecting us, so lots of people have had to pull out,” he said.
“The positive thing is that the show is still going ahead.”

The show will be from 10am to 2pm at the Horsham Showground on Saturday. The club is also hosting a poultry auction on September 4.
