Sheepvention wins tick of approval

Sheepvention Rural Expo organisers have dubbed the 2022 event a success after receiving positive feedback from traders and visitors.

Across three days, Hamilton Showground was home to various competitions, including wool handling and working dogs, a sheep sale and show, and trade exhibitions.

Sheepvention president Kathryn Robertson said it was ‘exciting’ to have the event return in 2022.

“The traders were all very happy to be back and we were pleased with the numbers through the gate,” she said.
