Sunnyside Bowling Club hosted its presentation night on Saturday, with medallions and perpetual trophies presented to winners of all club events for the 2025-26 season.
Winners were: Men’s Championship Singles – Dale McRae; Ladies Championship Singles – Norma Hair; Open B Grade Champion – Nigel Zanker; Open 100 Up – Gavin Watson; Men’s Pairs – Nigel Zanker and Lane Hyde; Ladies Pairs – Norma Hair and Yvonne Watts; and Open Club 4s – Neil Magor, Michael Billet, Terry Miller and Col Gebert. The club also celebrated the end of the season, playing an event for closing day.
Although official competitions have wound up for this season, social bowls at Sunnyside will continue all year on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, starting at 1pm.
People need to ring the club on 5382 3115 to enter between 11.30am and 12.30pm on each of those days.
