Support for Horsham businesses

Business Horsham has outlined latest lockdown business-support programs announced by the State Government.

Business Horsham ambassador Stacey Taig said the packages included a Business Costs Assistance Program, Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 and Victorian Events Support Package.

“Business Horsham encourages all members to apply where at all possible,” she said.

“If you are unsure if you fit the eligibility criteria, please call Business Victoria on 132215.

“To submit an application please head to the Business Victoria website www.business.vic.gov.au.

“If you do not fit the criteria and feel that you still require assistance, please contact us so that we are aware of your situation, and to enable us to ascertain if we can help in some way.”

The Business Costs Assistance Program provides $2500 grants for eligible employing and non-employing businesses most impacted by the COVID-19 lockdown.  

This includes businesses operating in an industry that cannot operate under the circuit-breaker restrictions and which cannot work remotely.

The Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 is a round of funding that provides businesses holding eligible liquor licence and food certificates with a $3500 grant per premises.

The Victorian Events Support Package includes a dedicated $20-million to support event operators who have incurred losses due to the circuit-breaker.
