VITAL SKILLS: Horsham YMCA swimming lesson team leader Kate Farlow instructs Berni Del Real as part of an intensive swim lesson program at Horsham Aquatic Centre.

The five-day program teaches participants water safety, stroke technique and skills for life.

The second crop of participants will be put through their paces next week. There are still places available for week two.
