Horsham Golf Club ladies will compete for The Ashes trophy on February 4.
The event, a three-ball stableford competition, is in its 12th year and commemorates bushfires of February 7, 2009, that decimated Horsham golf course and burnt a clubhouse to the ground.
Michael and June Crabtree hand-crafted the trophy, which goes to the winning team, from the burnt remains of one of the many trees lost on the fairways.
The event will have a shotgun start at 7.45am and should finish about 11.45am.
