Delahunty wins second Wimmera Football Netball League Toohey Medal

Minyip-Murtoa ruckman-forward Kieran Delahunty has won his second Wimmera Football Netball League best and fairest Toohey Medal.

The strong-marking follower, who previously won the league’s highest individual football accolade in 2014, polled 22 votes during tonight’s count to win from Stawell coach Thomas Eckel, 16.

Southern Mallee Giants coach Coleman Schache was third with 14.

The league senior count was broadcast on radio station 3WM and streamed live via the station YouTube channel as part of a partnership with radio stations 3WM and MIXX FM and The Weekly Advertiser.
