Wimmera interest in golf continues to grow as people make the most of limited opportunities to take part in competitive sport.
The impact is particularly obvious at Horsham Golf Club, which after reopening under strict protocols, has experienced considerable participation growth.
Club president Leo Delahunty said participation in competition golf had been 90 percent greater than the corresponding two weeks of last year.
He said the increase also applied to golf cart hire, green fees and use of a driving range.
