Former Rural Northwest Health leader Kevin Mills has taken on the role of chief executive with Warrnambool-based community health provider Mpower.
Mpower is one of south-west Victoria’s largest not-for-profit organisations, with 80 staff supporting more than 800 clients.
Mr Mills, originally from Kalkee near Horsham, replaces Kerry Nelson as chief executive and is just the third to hold the position in the agency’s 47-year history.
His previous other roles in the Wimmera have included Wimmera Uniting Care chief financial officer, Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital chief executive and chief financial officer.
