Long distance challenge: HTLC's Virtual Cross Country

The combined efforts of one Wimmera school saw students and staff run or walk a distance of more than 2000kms for their ‘virtual cross country’ event. 

More than 130 Horsham Trinity Lutheran College secondary school students and staff participated in the event which was redesigned to suit physical distancing measures. 

Participants tallied a distance of 2356kms over a period of 10 days of competition – equal to a road trip from Horsham to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

The biggest day of participation saw more than 600 kilometers added to the overall tally.
